Pop up Food Bank Collection in Lund on Saturdays and Sundays in August.
As you may know from the news, food banks are desperately short of donations while the need for their help is increasing. Residents in Lund have been very generous in their donations to the food bank collection which takes place every December, and so we decided to help by setting up a pop up collection in August.
To help the local food bank, we are collecting food on Saturdays and Sundays in August. A collection box will be placed in the forge/bus stop each weekend starting 6/7 August, and donations will be taken to the food bank store on Monday mornings.
The food bank urgently needs sponge puddings, tea bags, UHT fruit juice, instant mash, jam and tinned meat. They have plenty of baked beans, soup, and pasta. However, all donations will be gratefully received including dog and cat food, and toiletries.
Thank you so much. Any queries please contact Barbara Clark 01377 219575 Remove September 2022
